Abstract
Physicians suggest that problem situations that may arise between them and paramedical personnel are due to: 1) low wages of paramedical personnel, 2) low qualification of paramedical personnel, in particular nurses. Usually, dentists emphasize the fact that the nurses' primary purpose is to follow the directions of physicians.
In general, strict distribution of roles among medium-trained staff can promote less intense relationships between physicians and paramedical personnel. Adequate training for performing a specific function often underlies readability to perform a particular function in dental health system.
