Abstract
The article considers a number of problems such as an increased demand for health trips, the importance of the medical tourism development for contemporary society, concerns about the development of medical tourism, ethical problems of the medical tourism development, international accreditation of the medical institutions required to regulate medical tourism, global ethic code of tourism as a complex of guidelines for responsible and sustainable development of the world tourism. The author concludes that ethical support of medical tourism is discrete and not specialized. It is important to make obligatory independent ethical appraisal of the programs of medical tourism and the legal documents regulating tourism activity as a whole. At present it is impeded by the absence of ethical committees of sanatorium and resort complexes.
